Streets to Home:
Portraits of Unsheltered Neighbors

In 2021 I had the honor of being an artist selected for Smart Growth America's Art & Transportation Rapid Response, an initiative for transportation agencies looking to creatively and quickly address pandemic-related transportation challenges. In collaboration with MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) and Hope Atlanta, I partook in an art residency addressing the rail system's unsheltered ridership. In a project that mixed both public art and social work I expanded a previous creative personal project of creating portraits of clients I worked with as homless outreach social worker.
