Responsible for the clinical needs and supervision of the largest outreach team in the city of Atlanta, including psychiatric evaluation and clinical paperwork required for housing interventions. Serves as interim Social Services Director.

Team Leader, Homeless Outreach Programs (Jan 19 – Feb 23)
Maintained case manager duties while aiding in design, research, and strategic planning of a 14-person homeless outreach program in the City of Atlanta, including a
city-funded team and collaborations with Atlanta Police Department, Mercy Care and
Atlanta’s Trans Housing Coalition. Served as liaison between the public and the agency; aided in human resources; training and onboarding; and served in committees within the City’s Continuum of Care regarding coordinated entry policies.
 
Outreach Case Manager, Homeless Outreach Program (Jan 17 – Jan 19)
Responsible for street outreach with the goal of housing chronically homeless
individuals through the City of Atlanta’s Coordinated Entry system. Work included
intensive community case management, psychosocial assessments, street
psychotherapy, crisis intervention, identification retrieval, housing navigation,
behavioral health within Mercy Care’s Street Medicine team, and advocacy for Housing First policies among Housing providers. In 2017 I became the most prolific case manager in Atlanta in terms of housed clients through Coordinated Entry which allowed the agency to secure funding to expand exponentially and model their homeless outreach program after my work. In 2021 I was recognized by the City of Atlanta for this accomplishment.
