Portraits of Unsheltered Neighbors
In 2021 I had the honor of being an artist selected for Smart Growth America's Art & Transportation Rapid Response, an initiative for transportation agencies looking to creatively and quickly address pandemic-related transportation challenges. In collaboration with MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) and Hope Atlanta, I partook in an art residency creating a project that addressed the rail system's unsheltered ridership in a project that mixed both public art and social work.
